Membership Information
Mill Members
Member mills of MLMA are dedicated to the manufacturer and shipment of quality pine and hardwood lumber. All lumber produced by member mills conforms to the American Lumber Standard Committee (ALSC) grade marking system. All lumber produced by MLMA member mills equals or exceeds ALSC standards.
Mississippi mill members agree to pay to Mississippi Lumber Manufacturers Association monthly dues of the sum of ten cents (.10) per thousand on all lumber sold or shipped by their firm, including retail and all other sales. Payments must be paid by the 15th of each month covering shipments of the previous month. The minimum monthly dues are $50.00 (500,000 B/F or less), and the maximum monthly dues are $100.00 (1,000,000 B/F or more).
The 2021 Board of Directors voted to continue the OPTIONAL extra dues fee of $100 per month to be paid by mill members to supplement our lobbying efforts. This extra money supplements our efforts to promote and lobby for legislation to support our industry.
Associate Members
MLMA invites companies in the industry and sawmills outside Mississippi, to join as an associate member. It is only $250 annually to join as an associate member and a great way to get connected with other businesses and support our industry. We have over 200 associate members who will be featured on our website and recognized throughout the year. If you are interested in joining, please click on the link below.
Our Associate Membership Dues are $250 per year. We accept all major credit cards or a check may be mailed to MLMA, P.O. Box 5241, Jackson, MS 39296. Your company membership covers all your employees!
